One Mor’ Fishing Charters

We are Destin Florida's Premier Charter Boat Agency and Charter Fleet located in Destin Florida, on the Gulf of Mexico. We take the legwork out of deciding who to go fishing with while on vacation in Destin, Fort Walton Beach, and Santa Rosa Beach Florida. We also serve anglers who are staying in Pensacola Beach and Seaside, Florida. We have been providing excellent charter fishing trips in Florida for many years. Our booking service does not charge any fees to our customers. All you pay is the price of the charter and the tip for the mate or deckhand.

About the Captain

Capt. Mac grew up fishing up in the Northeast along the New England Coast and in the states on MA, NH, ME, and upper NY. He taught fishing for 8 years to the U.S. forces in Europe to attain a German fishing license

  • Why should I use a professional charter or a guide?

    In our experience, when you fish with a guide or a pro, you are all but guaranteed a successful trip. Captains have the experience, know the waters and know how to catch in many conditions. Plus, they just love fishing and keeping their guests happy so that they can have an enjoyable experience.

  • Can I take my family out on a charter?

    A fishing charter or trip with a guide can be enjoyed by a single person or a family. Most encourage the participation of small children as well, however charters will require the wearing of life jackets at all times. Many charter specialists are also willing to give handicapped clients special consideration.

  • When on a fishing charter will I need a fishing license?

    Yes, most states and countries will require a fishing license. Make sure to ask your Charter Captain or guide if this is included in the charter package or a separate cost. Most fishing licenses vary in price.

  • Will the captain and his crew clean the fish I catch so I can take home?

    Most times the captain will clean a reasonable amount of fish or has a service that will do this back at port. With larger quantity catches it is usually the responsibility of the customer to transport and clean their fish.

  • If the weather is bad will we still go on my booked charter?

    Check with each captain or guide regarding weather conditions and their individual policies regarding weather and rescheduling.

  • I want to fish for a specific fish, can most charters do this?

    Yes, please make sure to discuss this with your fishing charter or fishing guide as to your requirements on catch before your charter. Will many will accommodate, however none will promise it, as it is impossible

The One Mo’r is a 31’ G&S Express Sport Fisher powered by twin Cummins 285HP engines, with enough room to accommodate up to 6 passengers on board. The vessel is locally built and designed to handle the bay and offshore fishing demands of the Destin area. She’s well equipped with the latest in fishing electronics and navigational gear, including GPS, radar and Fishfinder by Furuno. A variety of specialized fishing equipment used on board allows the Captain to locate and catch everything from Red Snapper to trolling for Wahoo, Dolphin, and Marlin. The boat also features a cooler for drinks as well as a bathroom..

Captain Charles McPherson operates the One Mo’r, offering a wide range of customizable trips, including trolling, bottom and shark fishing, and even heavy-duty bluewater fishing for some of the local Gulf pelagics. The trip times range from a quick 4-hour offshore experience for those on a budget to a 12-hour trolling and bottom fishing adventure. From the moment you step on board to the last fish is cleaned, Capt. Mack and his First Mate are determined to make sure your satisfaction is maintained at all times. With years of experience between the two, helping others catch fish and make memories on the water is what they’re all about.

Each trip includes the appropriate fishing equipment, bait and licenses for all. The crew mainly uses Penn International rods and reels for bottom fishing and Shimano gear for trolling, and employs both live and artificial bait on their trips, depending on the season and your preferred target species. The One Mo’r crew fishes for just about everything available in these waters, including Amberjack, Cobia, Kingfish, Bonita, Tuna, Snapper, Grouper, Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, sharks and many more.
